The account recovery application allows you to access, or unlock,
your account in cases where you've forgotten your Wisconsin User ID or Password,
or been locked out of your account. The valid, unique and accessible e-mail account
used for Self_Registration is required for recovering access to your account.

1st Page: Login Page
If you've forgotten your Wisconsin User ID or Password, or accidentally
locked your account, click on the Forgot your password? link.
2nd Page: Step One in Recovering Access to Your Account
Enter either your Wisconsin User ID or the e-mail address associated with your
account and click Submit.
3rd Page: Notification that Step One is Complete
This page indicates that you have successfully completed Step One of the
account recovery process. You are also reminded to expect an e-mail containing
a Web link to the Secret Question and Answer page. You must successfully answer
your Secret Question in order to recover access to your account.
1st E-mail: Step Two in Recovering Access to Your Account
This e-mail provides a Web link to the Secret Question and Answer page.
You must follow this link and correctly answer your Secret Question.
4th Page: Step Three in Recovering Access to Your Account
Enter your Secret Answer in the appropriate field and
click Submit.
5th Page: Step Four in Recovering Access to Your Account
Enter a new password for your account and then re-enter it in the
appropriate field. Click Submit. Please note the restrictions
for a Password.
6th Page: Step Five in Recovering Access to Your Account
You have successfully completed Step 4 of the Account Recovery process.
You are now able to access secured State Web applications.
Please note that your Wisconsin User ID is shown next to your name,
in case this was the forgotten information. Click on the link to terminate your
Account Recovery Session.
7th Page: Logged out page
Your Account Recovery session has completed. Close the browser to
avoid disclosing potentially private information cached in your browser.
2nd E-mail: Confirmation of Password Change
This e-mail provides confirmation for the changes you made to
your account.
